A lot of people do not know of Wizard Rock but they should. It is the best thing that has happened in my life. I don't know where I would be without it. Wizard Rock is music about Harry Potter books and movies. Bands sing about the books and movies. This is a lot bigger than people think it is. There are over hundreds of bands, including The Remus Lupins, The Moaning Myrtles, The Whomping Willows, Ministry of Magic and many many more.
This genre of music is much more than the music and Harry Potter. Everyone in this community is so nice to each other. Unlike 'reality' (as I like to call it) everyone is super nice to each other and no one judges. There are Harry Potter conventions, Wizard Rock gatherings and shows.
This past November, I went to St. Louis to a gathering called Wrockstock. These four days of friends and Wizard Rock was amazing. I didn't know anyone there and they treated me so nicely. I would see people outside and they would start talking to me without knowing me. Everyone there is so loving and kind. If everyday life were like this it was be amazing. But it's not.
People have to face bullies, stereotypes and much more. At Wrockstock I didn't have to care about what any one thinks cause were all the same and we have one thing in common. Harry Potter and the community.
